Haunted...
...not by a ghost, fortunately! Just the littlest things that can suddenly turn into monstrous forms, whether I like it or not. Meaning, that life always seems to have the knack to poke and nudge at me when I am feeling like staying idle...
So, my apologies for not replying to any of your comments on my last post, dear friends. My one year old boy caught the measles just a few days ago, and being the panicky mother that I am, I automatically went nuts. Can't help it, I'm sort of built that way. LOL. I was even going to post this new spooky piece on Halloween, but alas that failed miserably. Well I'm just glad that the worst part is over, and my boy is recovering nicely. :)
Anyway, I'm afraid I'm going to keep this post short. I hope you all had a gruesome Halloween and found a finger or two floating in your soup! :)
See you soon!
Hugs,
Oh I hope your little one is feeling better soon, I've had a sick one at home this week too!!
ReplyDeleteLove this latest work though Amalia, I just favourited it on Etsy it's a stunner!!
Oh no! So sorry about your little boy! I am of the panicky sort, as well, so I can relate! Happy to hear he is on the mend!

Hugs,
Cameron
Gorgeous piece. I can totally relate to the panicky Mum status. I have an 11 month old who has also been very sick this week. Lets hope your little man does not share his germs with you like mine has. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery for all.

Hmm, when I happen to be outside in a fullmoon night, I'll look carefully at the clouds, because - who knows, who knows... Maybe I'll see this girl floating on the back of the good-natured monster?!:D A lovely drawing on the theme, Amalia!
ReplyDeleteI believe your little son is recovering quickly with his mummy's loving cares and soon the nights and days will come back to their normal - no more worries, no more (maybe) tears...
Have a calm rest of the week!xx
Lovely, lovely piece! Spooky in the sweetest way!
ReplyDeleteMeasles!?????!!! I would've freaked out too, Amalia!! Gosh, I'm soo very glad your little one is recovering nicely. That is something I've not had to deal with but oh my, I can only imagine. I thank you again for your kindness..you are truly one of a kind..thank you my friend!
ReplyDeleteThis piece is FAB-U-LOUS! One of the coolest, eeriest pieces I've seen!! And thank goodness there wasn't a finger in my soup on Halloween. Whew! Just some spiders in my kids' pumpkin treat boxes, but that's about it. Hope you had a good celebration despite the measles. Take good care and Happy November!!
Why, I DID find a finger. Why, are you missing one?
