Between two hemispheres,
It lingers.
Infinitely,
Today,
Tomorrow,
For all mankind.

  1. Just wandering past and I saw a strange light coming from your blog.

Well I have this feeling before, the electricity in the fingertips, it's an odd feeling the way the spark jumps, even when you are not looking. But one of these people is looking?

It's like we are visiting your landscape from a different perspective. A stage with different (?) actors.

    But they're not acting :)

    happy weekend :)

  2. Well, I'm sure you can feel the light if you touch it with your fingertip, especially if it's a spark. You can definitely see it...I wonder if you could smell it. :)

  5. Sigh - this is just beautiful! What is the significance of the banding around the faces?
Also wondering what medium you used...

  7. There is a painful lyricism in your drawings, and this one is not exception either. I am very much attracted to them - I love things that are not so evident and easy at first sight.

  8. Hey, thanks everyone! So nice of you to drop by :)

Julia, the banding around the faces? Hhm... to be honest, at the moment I'm quite intrigued by humans' ability to 'connect' with each other through space. Physical qualities bear only little significance sometimes, so it seems. Though as time passes, our senses are often revealed one at a time. (Akch! I'm rambling, aren't I? Hehe). Thank you for asking. I used colored pencils and a little touch up in Photoshop for this. :)

  9. Kinga, I can say the same thing about your art! I like trying to work out what they mean and the eeriness is always so overwhelming. :)

  12. Hark! Someone is peeking and is looking at me. Amazing texture. The swirls are such dramatic effect. Somehow it does not matter where these two souls are located, they will always be connected.

  14. What a picture! It's difficult to explain, but easy to feel. I feel that these two young people are connected in a way, maybe the common between them is... knowledge(the owl and the book)? And it predetermines the connection. They are staying on rocks, it's a windy and dangerous place and there's no evidence that there's no abyss between them, but they are so calm and confifent in their touch! How did you do this sparkling light?! A boy and a girl connecting two different worlds?...

  15. My, my, my, I sure have geniuses for friends! Now, let's just keep this as our little secret, shall we? (*____^)

Rossichka, I've been quite jammed with work, but still can't resist the temptation to create something new every now and then. So since I haven't much time these days, I've been playing more with Photoshop to make things easier and faster. Thus, the sparking light shines :)

  16. Oooooohhhhh!!!! Amalia! This is as intriguing as it is beautiful! The bandages are key and an excellent addition. Wow! You certainly do not need to see with your eyes to feel the connection, no matter the distance. Gorgeous background for these romantic figures!

  17. Romance? Hhm.. That's something I haven't thought of... But I suppose it's a possibility, given that stronger connections are usually based on psychological qualities. Now where have I read that before? .....
