The Rising

 a heart once cocooned
in speckles of light
seeping through
the mist of dust

forever enclosed
forever asleep
but never forgotten

a life once cocooned
now full of sparks
stepping out
into a world
of eternal lights

  6. Bloom! Bloom! Bloom my dearest Amalia. Step out and proclaim to the world "World, I am here!"

Whoever your muse is, or muses are, let me give thanks to them for I am one of the lucky recipients of all these wonderful creations.

    Your header is beautiful!

Your poem is full of passion.

Your strokes are so refined and filled with energy.

    Girl, you rock!

  8. Dearest one,

I will never laugh at another's muse. Muses are to be thanked, no matter how unexpected. I have an array of muses and I have my favorites but alas, I also have a detractor. If you see a boa constrictor wrapped around someone's neck instead of a beautiful silk scarf, you will know I have been to Hades and back!

  9. ...and thank you, everyone, for being so kind to me... ((hugs))

  10. Oh well, if you know what I mean, you will understand BUT enough of the miserable thoughts. You know who is my all-time favorite muse? My Mother. I offer everything I have and ask myself, would she have loved this? Then I have an array of sisterfriends who inspire me and when I think of how much one means to me, I paint like a possessed woman.

  20. You ust not be shy. Anyone who visits me again and again, you must say hello if you so desire because they won't come and visit again unless I like them and will welcome them and tht is mostly because they are wonderful people. So, you must not be shy...

  32. The trouble with being late is that all the good words are taken like amazing, beautiful, wow, wonderful, tea-time....

What, 'teatime?' Yes my translator tells me even 'tea time' is gone.

Well this is lovely Amalia. It not only a beautiful poem, but the sesments of the illustartion add so much more meaning. They 'illuminate'.

This is the same person as in the last image, continuing on their journey?

    ReplyDelete
  33. I suppose I should fix the spelling mistakes :)

    ReplyDelete
  34. Ok now, I think you've been playing too much with that translator of yours. You might do some serious damage to it, and it's apparently playing with your head too! Hahahaa...

But again, thank you, your words can be so sweet when you mean it. And that's a good thing in my book! (^_____^)
