  3. Love it <3
I like how you painted the heart-cocoon and left all the rest black and white.
The sea turning into words is really interesting too, wonder what it says :)

  4. "Indifferent significantly claims of love in certainly over pretensions over endeavor seem misapprehen..."

and this image... the fluidity of your strokes illustrate your honest feeling inside your cocooned heart. Ah but there is a door directly to it and you decided to be unquestioningly open.

You must love so intensely and so true, lucky are those loved by you!

Wht a great artist you are.

  7. Ces darling, you are always so observant, paying attention to the tiniest details! Those are just some words taken from a secret vault inside my head, which only make sense to me! Hahaha... :)

I don't know about being a great artist... Most of the time I'm still learning to be human. ((hugs))

  12. Oh my! Fantastic and romantic. Her cocooned and protected heart. But what will emerge shall be splendor. See how her face is turned to the wind? She may be blindfolded, but she is not afraid. Gorgeous image, Amalia!

  14. Err I left my book of synonyms at home today - let me check wiki :) My choices I see are - "outstanding, wonderful, terrific, splendid, fabulous, fantastic, marvelous, magnificent, superlative, tremendous, brilliant, inspired, first-class, first-rate"

So today I will go with 'first -rate' as said with a pucker english accent. (Oh I say! First Rate! Pucekr up, and all that! Tally Ho! What!)

Because this image reminds me of three things. The figure on the prow of a ship, the lady of blind justice, and the statue of liberty. They all have deep emotive correlatives, don't they?

And that's even before we get to the heart, the doors the cocoon and the words - even the idea of travelling, generated by the wind and the island/land.

But Tally Ho! Must save some words up! :)

  16. Oh yes, Monsieur Finnie, "Fuhrsstt rate", I believe??...And "Tally Ho"??! Goodness, are you trying to alert the hounds??? Sorry, the idea of fox hunting is too cruel for my faint heart... AHAHAHA!!

Well, I must also say, 'spot-on'!! The lady on the prow of the ship did come to mind while drawing this. Isn't it wonderful that a female can symbolizes the ever boundless voyage of the sea? (^_^)

  20. A drawing with a great impact! I think my interpretation would be different if She was with open eyes, but now it seems to me she doesn't want to see or remember anything of the world around her. Just to listen - to the wind, to the waves... As if they wear the rhythm of her feelings, the sounds of her life. Her life in words... Now she's focused on her heart, preparing for its rebirth. Maybe that's why it's the only fresh colour in the drawing... I'm very much impressed, Amalia! xx
