Two Sisters
The Beaufort Sisters were always the talk of the town, for they were such a peculiar pair of combination.
Rose the eldest was graciously beautiful, but with a temper that could frighten even the strongest of hearts. Most days she would stomp and scream while her face burnt red in her uncountable tantrums.
Charlotte, being so much less adorned because of her simple features, was on the other hand humble and kind. She would be seen with her sweetest smile throughout the day and be the first person to lend a helping hand.
Mr. and Mrs. Beaufort, as many parents would feel, often wondered how such beloved siblings could be different as night and day. Baffled each time, they would just shrug the notion away and understood it as one of life’s unbalanced gift.
Lovely feel. Enchanting.

ReplyDeleteWow! You really captured the essence of the characters in the portrait. I could tell immediately which was Rose and which was Charlotte. It was fun to read the story that went along with the image. I'd love to hear more about Rose and Charlotte!
