Whispers of My Love (IF - Brave)

Be brave, my child, for the world out there is unknown to you.
Keep your heart and your soul in their rightful place,
and the memories of my love will guide you through.

Always believe that your light will shine as bright as the stars.
Never listen to those who tell you otherwise.
Remember that my prayers will stay with you forever.

So be brave, my child, for your life will be sweet,
as long as you believe it,
with all your heart and all your might.

To my little girl, I wish you everything you dream of... and so much more.

  9. Sch rich colors and depth of soul! Wonderful! You must have that kind of patience too-- although we might agree that it is not really patience that's needed, but a craving!

  11. After all this wonderful drawing is full of hope! I find it in the rope, in the rising sun, in the bird's tear out of relief. A child has to believe that there's so much beauty in the world around us in order to make it a better place for one's lifetime! This is not easy, but posible!
I like the expression of the girl!!

  12. Thank you everyone, for your very, very generous words...

Have you ever been faced with a blank sheet of paper and realize that you're having a hard time just choosing the most important ideas while your head is swarming with so many? Well, this piece was one of those because it's a personal message for my little girl and as a mother *sigh* I seem to have SO many things to say to her! I hope she never gets tired of me...God bless her soul... (^__^)

Andrew my friend, you're way too clever to miss my metaphors, aren't you? Hehehee...

Rossichka, you are indeed a natural interpreter of art, mine particularly! Can't seem to hide anything from you! Hahaha...

  13. And Krista, you are so right! My patience level is only so-so, but when I get worked up on an idea, I'm practically and literally bound to my drawing table...crazy! :D
