She's adorable! And very metaphorical, I might add. I identify with Little Red Riding Hood... I always love the little verse that accompanies your paintings too!
Stunning illustration. A previous poster said red riding hood fits well with your style and I couldn't agree more. I would love to see other fairy tales in this style as well.
Oh, poor Little Red Riding Hood, if she only knew... A lovely illustration! I like the silhouette of the wolf - she can't see that the danger is behind her! All the details, the structure of the trees, the colours - everything's wonderful!xx
It is a beautiful drawing. I also like that it is drawn on sepia tone paper. You really blend the colors so well. There is a velvety texture to it. As for wolves, oh my, yes! We have them here - wolves, rabid dogs, snaks and skunks! Hahaha! Tsup!
AWWWWWWW, Amalia, I love this! She's beautiful. And I love just the splash of red. The big bad wolf had better watch out. I have a feeling she's got a mean high kick. :)
Excellent take on the prompt Amalia..and what with your beautiful craftsmanship, this is one lovely illustration! It's a fairytale..perfect for a collection don't you think?! Wishing you a wonderful week my friend!
Hey! I identify with the wolf! You know, ou have to give the wolf credit! Where would little Red RH be without him? And what about Grandma? After all, she had it coming to her...and what about Red's inheritance? If Granny was still with us Red would be living with her mum again, not to mention that trigger happy Hunter, whaam baam thankyou maam - err that doesn't sound right I meant whamm bang! Hmm, getting worse!
But seriously, I love her red cheeks and her knowing but sad look and the sepia undertones...
Hmm, they say all art is autobio, they also say let people off the bus first and always be at your appointment twenty minutes early
Maybe people say too much? I know I have ....

She knows he's there. She's baiting him. The stem of those flowers is stuck down the barrel of a .40 caliber Glock.
