This is beautiful! What will you do with you artwork and poetry? They would be lovely greeting cards, or logos, or framed and hanging on walls in groupings. I love them!
~i do hope it wrapped itself around you and brought forth comfort and warmth within...so moving are you words and your art speaks a thousands words...beautiful...warm wishes and brightest blessings~
Eggrolls, Pansit, fried rice, water melon. Later pizza, drinks and ice cream. 7 beautiful Asian-American girls, very cute, very smart and intelligent, very respectful. I love them! They are in the pool swimming and getting fried by the Texas sun. But they have sun block.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAH! You said it sister. Little pricks are nothing! HAHAHAHAHA! You want a big prick? HAHAHAHAHA! I can hear Renee hardy Har Harring now! HAHAHAHA! I will use a gauge 18 and a 60 cc syringe.
ahahah! I remember :D in any way, your eyes have seen more than I... you saw elephants, the sun... I'm talking with moles right now :) [and I'm looking for flora inspirations... do you know some place here where I can find beautiful drawings about nature? like flowers os bugs...]
Ohhhhh my. Embracing thorns, and yet she does not flinch. It seems the embrace is worth the pain. Resembles a little yin and yang. There is such beautiful movement and flow to your drawings. You take my breath away each time!
I think this is wonderful... and for response at your question ... I think the story behind this painting is, as always my story ... The rest from all wars and struggles to assert its point of view ... change attitude and let things go. A little more breath ... a little more love for themselves and a little more strength in love ... a big embrace ... !!!
You know? This embrace frightens me in a way! I'm not sure whether it's not stronger than the thorns... Don't you think the time for her awakening has come? Still the roses and the blond hair like a contrast make me breathe lightly.. By the way, this is the face of the Sleeping Beauty for me! Lovely movement in this drawing!
I must thank you all for your kind words and of course, the wonderful interpretations of my work. Your thoughts are like a breath of fresh air to me and so very often help me see things more clearly! :) Of course, this 'embrace' must mean differently to each person. So...
Julia and Ces, the thorns are there just basically to remind us of pain. But yet we see buds?? Will they blossom??
Amba, the girl is embracing the night? Hhm, I'd like to ponder on that... (Oh no! That will take all night!)
Bella, "It seems the embrace is worth the pain". Oh, you are GOOD!! :D
Rossichka, sometimes the dark has unrevealed beauty underneath and yes, I do hope the girl's awakening will come soon... :)
Amalia, I truly understand when you say the bond gets stronger. Probably because we are older and wiser. I can't get how beautiful are, those eyes of yours.
Okay, I know I asked you this before. What did you use to draw this? please don't tell me colored pencil because I am going to scream with envy.
Such beauty from pain..... Hey Amalia! Thanks for stopping by. I always enjoy a visit from you. Thanks for the kind words. Your words are like a paintbrush and your paintbrush like a magic wand. Your artwork is so beautiful, and your poetry exquisite! Have you ever thought of making a book of your words and art? it would be amazing!
Oh Dear Heart!!! How special your illustration. I love it. SO beautiful. I just love the hugs that happen to be all wrapped up in your fabulous illustrations. It's like getting to wear a soft fluffy bath robe on a really cold night. They are so very comforting. NOW that's power he he he he. God bless you for your kind words. Really. They have touched my heart. You are the best darling. You really truly are. Happy Father's day to your Dad and you! Really Big Hugs V
